B 85-93 F Below 70
All major units (chapter tests, etc.) count as two grades, while all other assignments (graded homework, daily quizzed, and/or minor tests) count as one grade. The major unit and other assignment grades earned during each grading period will be averaged to count as the student's total grade for each nine weeks. There will be no nine weeks tests given.
To determine semester, the two nine weeks averages count 3/4 and the semester exam 1/4. The yearly average is computed by averaging the first and second semester averages.
The Honor Roll is announced each nine weeks at the end of the semester. Students must attain a 90 or above average in each subject to qualify for the honor roll.
Academy Honors consists of students making a 94 or above in each subject.
